I am thinking about Red Bastard

Since Davis was in at the beginning of the recent rise in the success of clowning at the Fringe, he is sensitive to the possibilities that the genre allow, as he observes: ‘there is a spectrum: some people are really about the naive and the vulnerable, and allowing the audience to laugh at them; some people range to the other end, laughing at the audience’s stupidity.'

'In the last show, the target was on the audience, and Red Bastard is playing that role again but there is also some stuff where I open up my vulnerability. I’ll be wafting between pure bouffon and pure clown in this show.’
