Arts PR Session

PR professionals Jane Nicolson and Vicky Pitchers are holding an Arts PR Session on 27 March, at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, aimed at artists, performers and administrators working in the creative industries.

Even though official statistics published recently reveal that the UK's creative industries are now worth £71.4 billion per year to the UK economy, many arts professionals have limited budgets and are unable to hire the services of a PR Agency.

We believe these sessions are a great way to share our experience of the arts media landscape with the aim of empowering those who work in the creative industries to professionally promote their story.

Each session gives a step by step guide to the essentials of good PR and media communications, focusing on planning, press releases and pitching to the media. The workshops are designed to cumulatively build your understanding and skills to enable you to successfully promote your event, concert or festival to the media.
