Where to find New Weather Coming
Friday 18th July
Find New Weather Coming on the Clyde Coast, Rosneath Peninsula and Isle of Bute on Friday the 18th July 2014.
Intrepid travellers can take the 8.26am from Glasgow Central to Gourock, hop onto 9.18am ferry from Gourock to Kilcreggan, and pop up to Cove Park* and see The Patrons, by Alex Frost. Then at 11.55am it’s possible to take the Waverley Steamer** from Kilcreggan to Rothesay, and view Lorna Macintyre: Four Paper Fugues at Mount Stuart***. The 4.45pm ferry from Rothesay to Wemyss Bay meets the 5.49pm train for Glasgow Central, arriving at 6.44pm.
* Free return transport between Kilcreggan Pier and Cove Park will be available on 18th July.
** The part journey, Kilcreggan to Rothesay on the Waverley Steamer costs £21.
*** Free return transport between Rothesay and Mount Stuart will be available on 18th July.
Saturday 26th July
Around the time of Shopping Week in Stromness (20th July – 26th July), watch out for New Weather Coming on routes leading to Orkney, especially on Saturday 26th July when there will be a performance by Walker & Bromwich in Stromness as part of their exhibition Orcadia & Other Stories at the Pier Arts Centre.
Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August
New Weather Coming will be on routes leading to the Isle of Canna around the time of Hanna Tuulikki’s sited performance Away With The Birds.www.awaywiththebirds.co.uk
